Two leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami were arrested at Meherpur and Narail in various cases on the order of the order of Friday, reports Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha.
Mohammad Farooq Hossain, secretary of Meherpur district unit of Jamaat, was arrested by police approaching various charges, including sabotage, from Ashrafpur village below the Sadar upazila upon Friday.
Police said 6 cases, including 5 charges of sabotage, are pending as soon as Sadar police station adjoining Farooq, 55, furthermore a former UP chairman.
In Narail, the nayabe ameer of Lohagara Jamaat-e-IslamiR,S Badsha Miah, 45, was arrested from Baka village of the upazila of the district upon Friday.
A number of cases, including charges of sabotage, are pending adjoining him, the sources subsidiary.
